ACCESS MODE 
To access, it is mandatory to make an online reservation under the voice "My reservations" in the personal area of ​​the Sport website.
The number of daily entries is limited, up to 12 members will be able to enter each day.*
Reservations open 72 hours in advance and can be canceled within 24 hours preceding the selected date (e.g. reservations for Sunday will open on Thursday at 08:00 am and can be canceled until 08:00 am on Saturday).
To access the slopes you will need to go to the ticket office, communicate your name and show a ID card, if the booking is in order you will get your ski pass.

RENTAL OF GOLF COURSES, CLASSES, EXPERIENCES

The Golf Club Le Rovedine features 2 golf courses, one championship 18-hole course and a practice course with simplified holes ideal for beginners to approach the game. It boasts the largest training center in Italy (100 stations and 10 instructors) where you can take trial lessons or start with a Course.

GLINDER FLIGHTS AND COURSES

Aero Club Adele Orsi is the largest gliding club in Italy and organises sightseeing glider flights in Varese; it is located in Calcinate del Pesce, on Lake Varese, in one of the best places to practice gliding.

WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES?

Politecnico’s students and employees are offered 3 different opportunities/experiences:

1. INTRODUCTORY FLIGHT including a pre-flight briefing for minimum two people; possibility of a glider flight of approximately 30 minutes with a flyover of the city of Varese, Sacro Monte di Varese and Campo dei Fiori. The flight will be conducted by an instructor and can be organised either during the week or at the weekend, depending on the high or low season of the Aero Club. The cost for PoliMI students and employees is € 150 (usual price € 170, university student price € 160). Subject of the pre-flight briefing: daily glider checks, flight controls and instrumentation, pre-flight briefing, glider performance: distance and altitude achieved, profile of a distance flight, flight efficiency - the polar curve, weather conditions: thermals and waves, different types of gliders, how to get a glider pilot's licence, GLIDER FLIGHT. During the glider flight, students/employees will be able to experience that which they learned during the pre-flight briefing.
2. PARTICIPATION IN THE FREE THEORY COURSE FOR OBTAINING A GLIDER PILOT'S LICENCE
   The theory course consists of 20 lessons of 3 hours each, which can be attended from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends during pre-scheduled periods (2 sessions per year), mainly in person.
   The subjects covered are: aviation regulation and air traffic control, human performance, meteorology, radio communications, principles of flight, operational procedures, flight performance, general aircraft knowledge, flight planning. The theoretical course is free of charge.
3. ENROLMENT IN THE FLIGHT SCHOOL FOR OBTAINING A GLIDER PILOT'S LICENCE.
   The Flying School includes a theory course and a flying course. At least 15 hours of flight and 45 flights are included. The course is open all year round and can be started at any time. The total duration of the course varies from 6 to 10 months.
   The total cost for obtaining the licence of course changes depending on the learning progress of the student and the cost is around €4,500. The cost is considerably reduced for applicants aged under 23 years, according to the Statute of Aero Club d'Italia Statutes and the Rules and Regulations of Aero Club Adele Orsi.
   PoliMI students and employees over 23 years of age will be granted a €150 discount at the time of registration.

COURSE AND PURCHASE OF SURFSKATE BOARDS

The school organizes group and private Surfskate lessons in Milan and Rome at various locations in the heart of the two cities.

Surfskate is a variant of skateboarding with a special board that mimics the movements of surfing on the pavement. This activity is preparatory for surfing and is aimed at both enthusiasts who want to train and refine their technique, and those who are getting on a board for the first time.

Puresport S.r.l. is a company that organises GT and single-seater sports driving experiences (including a real F1 car) on circuits longer than 2.3 km.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

The cost of the experience varies depending on the date, track, car, package and number of laps desired.

The programme of the experience consists of an initial group briefing, a reconnaissance lap with an instructor driving to view the track, driving turns with an instructor who will suggest how to get the most out of the car, and finally the presentation of the participation certificate with a final toast.
